Requirements
Must:
- Provide remote and on-site technical assistance for end-users, workstations, servers, and network equipment
- Estimated 60% to 80% remote work; must have a suitable workspace
- Participate in project implementations, including Windows workstations and servers, switches, firewalls, and cloud components
- Record all activities in the ticketing system
- Administer remote and on-site support for Windows server environments
- Manage remote and on-site support for hosted solutions
- Utilize remote monitoring and management (RMM) and professional services automation (PSA) tools for user and system support
- Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy
- Familiarity with AntiVirus solutions
- Knowledge of backup and recovery processes
- Proficient in desktop support
- Understanding of DFS
- Experience with firewalls such as SonicWALL or Fortigate is preferred
- Skills in malware removal
- Proficient in MS Office and MS 365
- Understanding of network services: DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP
- Experience with network switches and VLAN
- Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, VBScript, or Kixtart
- Skills with smartphones (Android, iPhone, Windows)
- Familiarity with Synology
- Experience with tablets (Android, iPhone, Surface)
- Proficient in TCP/IP
- Knowledge of Terminal Services
- Experience in virtualization with MS Hyper-V or VMware
- Proficient in Windows 7, 10, and 11
- Experience with Windows Server 2012 through 2022
- Knowledge of VPN technologies
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service through remote and on-site support
- Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve them effectively
- Collaborate with team members on various projects
- Document all interactions with clients and track issue resolutions through the ticketing system
- Assist in implementing projects that involve advanced technologies
- Maintain a high level of communication during support sessions
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies
- Manage priorities under tight deadlines while handling multiple tasks
