Requirements

Must:
### - Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, Asylee, or Refugee). - Active or current TS/SCI security clearance is necessary for this role. - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline. - Willingness to work on-site in the greater Northern Virginia/Washington, D.C./Maryland area. - A minimum of 3 years of experience in AI/ML engineering with a strong emphasis on deep learning and neural networks, OR substantial practical experience employing AI/ML in the context of simulation or scientific computing. - Proficient experience with foundation models or similar advanced AI/ML techniques, including: - Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), including fine-tuning and prompt engineering. - Experience with generative models or vision models for data analysis or synthetic data creation is a plus. - Strong proficiency in Python and relevant AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers) along with scientific computing libraries. ###

Responsibilities

- Conduct high-fidelity modeling and simulation of space and airborne ISR systems (satellites, aircraft, sensors). - Design, develop, and implement AI/ML systems focusing on leveraging and customizing foundation models to enhance simulation analysis and predictive capabilities. - Fine-tune pre-trained foundation models for ISR tasks to optimize performance within simulation contexts. - Research and experiment with innovative foundation model architectures and learning strategies to elevate analysis outcomes. - Instantiate operational scenarios, architect studies, and perform trade-off analyses. - Create tools for data analysis, visualization, and AI model assessment. - Perform rigorous Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) checks of simulation inputs/results and AI model outputs. - Analyze extensive simulation and real-world data to uncover patterns and insights, presenting findings through clear visuals and technical reports. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-enhanced simulation solutions into critical decision-making processes. - Present study results and AI-derived insights to senior decision-makers and customers. - Stay updated on the latest advancements in simulation techniques, foundation models, and artificial intelligence. ###
