Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Strong expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proficient in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
- Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols
- Experience managing Postgres databases on Kubernetes infrastructure
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with team members and colleagues
- Must be a U.S. citizen
Nice to Have:
- Experience with high availability systems and database replication
- Familiarity with microservices architectures
- Proven success in delivering and maintaining complex software systems in production environments
- Experience automating infrastructure with zero downtime deployments
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator)
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and uphold CI/CD pipelines for software initiatives
- Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring of cloud infrastructure through tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform
- Resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and system performance
- Ensure the availability, scalability, maintainability, reliability, and security of our services
- Continuously assess and suggest enhancements to our DevOps processes and tools
- Participate in an on-call rotation approximately every 10 weeks
