Requirements
Must:
- U.S. citizenship with an active TS/SCI clearance (willing to obtain CI poly)
- Bachelors degree in computer science or software engineering (or equivalent experience) with 7+ years of relevant software development
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (Vue, React, Angular) with familiarity in modern software development, CI/CD pipeline integration, and deployment
- Agile development experience utilizing Jira
- Experience with geospatial data across multiple coordinate systems, projections, and formats
- Proficient in Git version control, peer code reviews, and collaboration with distributed cross-functional teams
- (Desired) Experience as a product owner or scrum master in an agile setting
- (Desired) Familiarity with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar for UI/UX collaboration
- (Desired) Experience with automated end-to-end testing tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress
- (Desired) Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools like Grafana or Loki
Responsibilities
- Implement UI/UX designs and front-end components, ensuring an intuitive and effective user experience for operational users
- Create and integrate user interfaces for web-based GIS applications, delivering a seamless and engaging experience for analysts
- Ensure new components and features comply with our design systems and guidelines to maintain consistency across applications
- Conduct thorough testing and review of code, ensuring it meets acceptance criteria
