Requirements
Must:
- Must be a U.S. citizen and willing to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
- Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline; four additional years of relevant experience can replace the degree requirement
- At least 2 years of experience in a technology company
- A minimum of 1 year of experience with Linux and BASH scripting
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Mission Planners, Systems Engineers, Test Engineers, Software Developers, and other teams to ensure successful imagery collection outcomes
- Provide critical engineering support for our operational satellite mission planning systems
- Develop requirements, validate performance, and troubleshoot issues related to next-generation systems
- Implement mission planning software into the ground system, with a strong emphasis on minimizing downtime
