Requirements

Must:
- U.S. citizenship required - Active/current TS/SCI with required polygraph - Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience - Proficient in K8s, Docker, Helm, and automated deployment via pipelines (e.g., Concourse or Jenkins) - Familiarity with distributed control systems such as Git - Experience with AWS cloud services - Proven experience in establishing monitoring and observability solutions across various systems, tools, and data feeds - Skilled in scripting using Python and Java - Must be willing to work onsite full time - Ability to share on-call responsibilities - Advanced understanding of Unix/Linux systems with strong command line proficiency

Responsibilities

- Establish standards for monitoring the reliability, availability, maintainability, and performance of client systems - Design and architect operational solutions to manage applications and infrastructure effectively - Propel service acceptance by integrating new processes into daily operations and creating monitoring protocols to identify risks and automate repeatable tasks - Collaborate with service and product managers to set key performance indicators for trend analysis and improved outcomes - Conduct in-depth troubleshooting for production-level issues - Work closely with service managers to enhance the teams capability in identifying and resolving root cause performance issues swiftly, ensuring quick recovery from service interruptions - Develop and utilize tools to correlate varied data sets efficiently and automatically, enabling quick identification of root causes and understanding of interrelated issues - Coordinate with sponsors to assist during major incidents, large-scale deployments, and SecOps user support efforts
