Requirements
Must:
- Must be a U.S. citizen and willing to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Computer Science, Physical Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- Requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Strong collaborative and teamwork abilities are essential
- Proficient in creating engineering designs and incorporating feedback
- Experience in innovation processes such as design, development, or integration activities for complex feature implementation
- Proven design contributions to successful projects
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- High level of self-motivation and attention to detail in system design and operability
Responsibilities
- Engage in the Agile Software Development Life Cycle to facilitate system baseline changes for mission planning ground system software
- Collaborate closely with feature owners, systems engineers, program managers, product owners, developers, testers, and operations teams to define features and devise optimal system designs
- Create artifacts for system-level design and manage related requirements
- Participate in design discussions with subject matter experts (SMEs) and work across the organization for implementing designs
- Oversee the development of up-to-date models and design documentation for software components
- Engage with internal clients in design sessions, focusing on mission planning within ground systems from back-end processing to user interfaces
