Must:
To be eligible for this position, you must be a U.S. Person, defined as a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, Asylee, or Refugee. If this role requires an active U.S. Government security clearance, please note that applicants who do not possess the required clearance will not be considered. Employment for cleared positions is contingent upon the verification of clearance status. Some roles may also be subject to U.S. export control laws.
Minimum requirements include:
- U.S. citizenship
- Current Top Secret security clearance with SCI Eligibility and willingness to undergo a CI polygraph
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field (additional years of experience may substitute for a degree; a master's degree may count as additional experience)
- At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in programming, design, and development
- Proficient in Python, Java, or a similar programming language
- Familiarity with containerization (such as Docker, Podman) and orchestration (Kubernetes, Nomad, etc.)
- Experience with ORM software (Django, SQLAlchemy, Hibernate, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking and remote system workflows
- Experience in cloud environments (e.g., OpenStack)
- Familiarity with agile development practices and tools like GitLab
- Availability to work on-site in Herndon, VA
Responsibilities
