Requirements
Must:
- We require U.S. citizenship and an active U.S. Government security clearance at the TS/SCI level with CI polygraph eligibility.
- We expect a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, although equivalent experience may be considered in place of a degree.
- We look for at least 3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
- We need experience using Git or comparable source control systems.
- We prefer familiarity with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins or GitLab.
- We require experience with Infrastructure-as-Code solutions, including Terraform and Ansible.
- We value experience working with Linux operating systems, especially Red Hat or Amazon Linux.
- We expect familiarity with containerization technologies and Kubernetes.
- We seek understanding of cloud environments, with AWS experience strongly preferred.
- We value prior work in Agile software development settings.
- Preferred: Security+ or a similar IAT Level 2 certification.
- Preferred: Experience packaging Kubernetes applications with Helm charts.
- Preferred: Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Preferred: Exposure to static analysis tools such as Fortify or SonarQube.
- Preferred: Experience supporting applications in production environments.
- Preferred: Knowledge of web services and SQL databases.
Responsibilities
- We deploy and maintain Kubernetes environments, including EKS and RKE.
- We implement infrastructure through Infrastructure-as-Code practices using Terraform and Ansible.
- We build and sustain CI/CD pipelines that support software integration and delivery.
- We integrate security scanning and static code analysis capabilities into our DevOps workflows.
- We support deployments across cloud-based environments and multiple operational networks.
- We partner with software and systems engineers to automate testing and documentation processes.
- We investigate and resolve issues related to infrastructure, networking, and deployment pipelines.
- We support configuration management and release activities for operational systems.
- We monitor applications and infrastructure to help ensure reliability and strong performance.
- We contribute to the integration, testing, and deployment of mission-critical intelligence capabilities.

This role supports PUMA, the U.S. Intelligence Communitys Program of Record missile warning system, which operates around the clock in redundant operational environments and fuses data from DoD and Intelligence OPIR sensors to generate 3D missile tracks for tactical and strategic warning. We offer a competitive base salary range of $92,000 to $195,000 annually depending on experience, skills, location, and market factors, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, health and welfare insurance, and a 401(k) for eligible employees.
