Requirements

Must:
- We require an active TS/SCI U.S. Government security clearance and the ability to pass a CI polygraph. - We require U.S. citizenship, and certain duties may also require U.S. person status under export control rules. - We prefer a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline; equivalent experience may be accepted in place of a degree. - We look for at least 3 years of relevant experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or platform engineering. - We need experience using Git or similar source control systems. - We expect familiarity with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins or GitLab. - We require hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible. - We value experience working with Linux environments, with Red Hat or Amazon Linux preferred. - We look for familiarity with container technologies and Kubernetes. - We expect understanding of cloud environments, with AWS preferred. - We prefer experience working in Agile delivery environments. - We consider Security+ or a comparable IAT Level II certification a plus. - We prefer exposure to Helm charts and Kubernetes application packaging. - We value familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems. - We prefer experience with static analysis tools such as Fortify or SonarQube. - We value experience supporting production applications. - We prefer knowledge of web services and SQL databases.

Responsibilities

- We ask you to assist with deploying and maintaining Kubernetes platforms such as EKS and RKE. - We need you to implement infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code practices with Terraform and Ansible. - We expect you to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support software integration and release. - We need you to integrate security scanning and static code analysis tools into our DevOps workflows. - We ask you to support deployments across cloud-based environments and multiple operational networks. - We expect you to partner with software and systems engineers to automate testing and documentation processes. - We need you to troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and pipeline-related issues. - We ask you to support configuration management and release activities for deployed systems. - We expect you to monitor applications and infrastructure to help ensure reliability and performance.

This DevOps Engineer role supports PUMA, the U.S. Intelligence Communitys Program of Record missile warning system, which operates continuously in redundant environments and fuses OPIR sensor data into 3D missile tracks for tactical and strategic warning. You will help sustain the DevOps infrastructure that enables integration, testing, and deployment of mission-critical capabilities. We offer a competitive base salary range of $92,000 to $195,000 annually, along with eligible benefits that include paid time off, health and welfare insurance, and a 401(k).
