Must:
To qualify for this position, you must be a U.S. Person, which includes U.S. citizens, permanent residents, Asylees, or Refugees. This role necessitates an active U.S. Government Security Clearance at the TS/SCI level with CI Polygraph. You should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field, or you may substitute your education with an additional 4 years of relevant experience. We are looking for candidates with at least 6 years of relevant experience in software development, technology, engineering, or science. Strong programming abilities in languages such as C++, Java, Lambda, Go, and AWS are essential. Familiarity with task-based native software creation, algorithms, RESTful APIs, RESTful Web Services, and orchestration/containerization (like Kubernetes and Docker) is highly desirable. Furthermore, you should be able to effectively communicate complex technical analyses to non-technical audiences and senior government representatives. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is a must.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to facilitate the development of system architectures, software systems, and applications, primarily focusing on back-end development. You will be involved in creating new software based on algorithm definitions and prototypes and collaborating with program teams to strategize future operations. Continuous improvement on agile development methodologies and tools will also be part of your work. You will engage in a collaborative environment to assist with sensor system design and fielding, special communications, and command and control. Moreover, you will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team to compile intricate products that guide leadership on technical risks and project success chances. Additionally, you will present project findings, modeling efforts, results, conclusions, and recommendations to customers, program and senior leadership, as well as mission partners.
