We are seeking a seasoned security developer who can interpret and guide software development teams on secure coding practices and application security report analyses across various programming languages and multiple cloud services. You should possess a robust understanding of the secure software development lifecycle and practices, including familiarity with SAFe/Agile methodologies. Knowledge of security by design principles and architecture-level security concepts is essential. You must have a sound grasp of implementing security technologies and techniques, including Cryptographic Algorithms, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), network security protocols, OAuth, two-factor authentication, and data at rest encryption standards. Experience with OWASP Top 10 application security guidelines and cloud-based design and security controls is also required. Additionally, familiarity with generating and reviewing penetration test results, environmental configuration definitions, security analyses, threat modeling, and system security audits is crucial. Understanding current and emerging security threats, as well as exposure to international privacy requirements, is important for this role.
Responsibilities
In your role as the Sr. Principal Product Security Engineer, you will collaborate closely with software developers to foster a security-focused mindset by defining implementations and coding in alignment with our Application Security Program guidelines. You will implement secure coding solutions, design patterns, and code guidelines that adhere to security and privacy requirements as outlined in security plans, risk assessments, policies, and procedures. You will support project governance by planning and prioritizing security initiatives, driving security solutions implementation in collaboration with development leads, security architects, and product owners. Your responsibilities will also include executing feature enhancements in accordance with architectural guidelines through designs, coding, reviews, and tests. You will conduct Proof of Concept (POC) activities as needed, review and analyze security testing results, and mitigate findings with developers for various non-medical and software as medical devices (SaMD) product lifecycles. Moreover, you will assess current software security control measures and propose enhancements for various cloud-based products and participate in post-market product analyses to support vulnerability assessments.
