Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of eight years of related work experience.
- Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
- AWS experience preferred.
- Understanding of older web technologies such as JSPs, JSF framework, XHTML, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of mid-tier and UI development and architecture.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python, Java, Node.js; knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure templating languages such as CloudFormation or Terraform is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools like Docker.
Responsibilities
As an Application Engineering Technical Lead for Personal Investor, you will:
- Serve as the Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) who understands both legacy and modernized technical ecosystems and applies this knowledge to review cross-cutting initiatives distributed to PI product teams and other shared service partners.
- Participate in the intake ceremony where you will assess work that impacts PiTech and ensure that projects have all necessary information for successful triage.
- Partner closely with the risk team, cloud team, and incident management team to ensure proper project reviews and to identify strategies that can simplify tasks or eliminate the need for individual changes among teams.
- Provide expert-level IT technical lead services and direction for critical software and middleware projects across multiple platforms.
- Ensure the viability of IT deliverables, conduct testing, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Communicate with key stakeholders on project issues and evaluate the impacts of change requests on technologies.
