Requirements
Must:
- Associates degree in computer/network security, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of system administration experience in production environments
- Proven expertise in Windows server administration, including AD DS, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Experience with VMware ESXi, including managing hosts, clusters, and vCenter
- Knowledge of Cisco networking, including switches, access points, and firewalls
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis
- Experience with monitoring systems and network infrastructure
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements
- Competence in preparing documentation and configuration records
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred
- Relevant industry certifications (Cisco, Windows, VMware, etc.) are a plus
Responsibilities
- Maintain the reliability and security of our IT infrastructure
- Administer Windows servers, including installation, configuration, hardening, and patching
- Manage VMware ESXi environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability
- Configure and support Cisco networking equipment including switches and firewalls
- Serve as an escalation point for complex incidents and lead troubleshooting efforts
- Monitor system performance and tune alerts and logging for efficiency
- Implement and uphold security policies and compliance measures
- Oversee backup processes and support disaster recovery activities
- Prepare and coordinate change management processes
- Create and maintain documentation for network and server configurations
- Collaborate with vendors and managed service providers for technical support
- Identify and pursue opportunities for infrastructure improvement and standardization
- Maintain confidentiality of company information at all times
Description
We are seeking a dedicated IT professional to join our team in Milbank, SD. This full-time, onsite role offers an exciting opportunity to support and enhance our IT infrastructure. Our work environment combines a professional office and data-center setting, allowing for both productivity and collaboration. Regular working hours are Monday through Friday, complemented by rotating on-call responsibilities.
