Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or equivalent experience
- Practical knowledge in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell), HMI development, and SCADA systems
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail
- Familiarity with food safety standards and hygienic design is advantageous
- Additional experience with robotics, vision systems, or automated packaging lines is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee automation projects from initiation to completion, including PLC programming, HMI design, and system rollouts
- Ensure our automated systems operate safely and efficiently
- Diagnose issues and enhance systems including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and robotics
- Collaborate closely with production, maintenance, and quality assurance teams to streamline processes
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards
- Provide training and assistance to automation technicians
- Keep informed about the latest trends and advancements in automation technology
