Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline. - Over 10 years of experience in radar or electronic warfare systems. - Proven ability to architect complex sensing or RF exploitation systems. - Extensive knowledge in radar signal processing, including detection, estimation, tracking, and classification. - Proficient in designing systems under real-time or embedded constraints. - Strong skills in C++ and Python for algorithm development and system integration. - Experience in developing and validating algorithms using MATLAB. - Familiarity with FPGA, GPU, embedded systems, or high-performance computing architectures. - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. - Active security clearance or capability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

- Create end-to-end radar and electronic warfare system architectures, covering RF front end, digitalization, digital processing, exploitation, and user outputs. - Translate mission requirements into system-level specifications and performance criteria. - Conduct architecture trade studies, evaluating performance, latency, size, weight, and power considerations, as well as scalability. - Develop technical roadmaps for signal processing and exploitation capabilities. - Serve as the technical lead or chief engineer on radar and EW programs. - Mentor and support engineering teams in best architectural practices and technical excellence. - Design and supervise development of advanced signal processing methodologies including pulse compression, Doppler processing, detection algorithms, beamforming, target tracking, and emitter classification. - Facilitate the integration of machine learning techniques for RF signal classification and sensor exploitation. - Confirm that algorithm designs are reliable, evaluable, and appropriate for real-time deployment. - Align algorithm development with hardware limitations across various platforms (FPGA, GPU, CPU, embedded systems). - Define requirements for digital signal processing and oversee data flows across system interfaces. - Assist in integration, validation, and performance verification processes. - Review and endorse technical specifications, interface control documents, and verification strategies. - Present technical strategies and outcomes to internal leadership and governmental stakeholders. - Contribute to proposals, technical documents, and white papers. - Identify potential technical risks and formulate mitigation approaches. - Assist in long-term planning for technology and product development.
