Requirements
Must:
- Fluent in Mandarin for effective communication with international technical teams
- Background in Computer Science or Database Development, understanding database mechanics
- Over 3 years of experience in BI Development or Data Engineering
- Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, joins, and stored procedures
- Expertise in DAX, with understanding of Row Context vs. Filter Context and Columns vs. Measures
- Experience with SSIS and SSAS Tabular Models
- Bonus: Familiarity with Big Data tools like Apache Doris or Hadoop, or ERP data structures
Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level Star Schemas, defining Fact vs. Dimension tables for improved report performance
- Develop complex SQL stored procedures and construct SSIS packages for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from ERP systems (SAP/Navision)
- Create advanced Power BI reports, writing custom DAX functions to address business logic issues
- Cleanse and validate unstructured data to maintain an accurate Single Source of Truth
- Collaborate with the BI Manager and headquarters teams to resolve data discrepancies and integrate new data sources
