Requirements
Must:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum GPA of 3.25.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational database principles.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and Management Studio (SSMS).
- Understanding of transaction commits, rollbacks, and transaction logs.
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Self-starter with a desire to learn in a dynamic environment.
- Effective communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and upkeep of Microsoft SQL database systems.
- Monitor database performance and offer tuning assistance.
- Support backup and recovery processes.
- Aid in managing user permissions and ensuring data security.
- Conduct inventory checks of server configurations, permissions, and unused entities, and recommend best practices for server settings and database maintenance.
- Write SQL queries, scripts, and documentation as needed.
- Support database migration, integration, and deployment initiatives.
- Help diagnose database issues and devise solutions.
- Assist users with queries and permission-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with the team to understand data requirements across various departments.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
