Requirements
Must:
- Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field
- Over 5 years of experience as an Oracle Backend Developer or in a similar capacity
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database management
- Strong background in database design, query optimization, and performance tuning
- Experience with Oracle Database 12c or newer
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of Oracle databases with other platforms
- Capable of writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain backend systems utilizing Oracle Database technologies
- Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate Oracle databases with assorted front-end technologies
- Write and enhance complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database triggers to support backend applications
- Conduct database tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure optimal performance and availability
- Ensure database security, backups, and integrity in accordance with best practices and security protocols
- Engage in code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Work alongside system architects to create and implement scalable database solutions
- Provide technical support for database-related challenges and system upgrades
- Document database designs, processes, and configurations
- Comply with government and organizational security standards, ensuring adherence to Secret Security Clearance requirements
