Requirements
Must:
- Currently holds a TS/SCI with CI polygraph
- Security Certification (Security+, CISSP, or equivalent)
- Splunk Core certification
- 7-10 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in classified environments
- Strong grasp of identity management, SIEM, cybersecurity, and infrastructure principles
- Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) certification preferred; Splunk Certified Architect/Consultant is a bonus
- Familiarity with or eagerness to learn Splunk SOAR, Splunk Enterprise Security, and Cribl Stream
- Proficient in Linux and scripting languages (Python, Ansible, Terraform, JSON)
- Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC)
- Excellent interpersonal abilities, collaborative mindset, and clear communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on detail
- Willingness to travel to fulfill client needs
Responsibilities
- Develop custom Splunk reports, dashboards, and content tailored to customer needs
- Diagnose and resolve issues with Splunk instances independently
- Collaborate with clients to assess their cybersecurity requirements and objectives
- Act as a technical lead and escalation point for intricate issues
- Mentor and support Associate, Level I, and Level II Engineers on advanced tasks
