Requirements
Must:
- Associates degree required
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
- Over 3 years of experience in network configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Advanced knowledge of ticketing systems
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, RDP, VNC, ping, tracert, ipconfig/ifconfig, VLAN, VPN, Packet Tracer, Wireshark)
- Basic knowledge of Python/Ansible for developing and managing networking scripts
- Combination of education and experience may substitute for a degree
Responsibilities
- Design and implement network solutions to fulfill business needs
- Conduct system updates, patching, migrations, and preventative maintenance on network systems
- Diagnose and resolve moderate to complex technical issues independently
- Oversee network security and implement necessary security protocols
- Work collaboratively with IT teams to maintain network reliability and enhance performance
- Train and mentor junior network engineers
