Requirements
Must:
- Masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 12+ years of experience in endpoint administration and solutions within a large deployment (10,000+ devices)
- 10+ years of experience with on-prem and remote Windows-based device imaging and deployment
- 7+ years of experience in advanced user support and solution development
- 7+ years of Active Directory experience
- Strong understanding of healthcare technology regulations such as HIPAA and HITECH
- Expert knowledge of SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and related Identity Management technologies
- Demonstrated expertise in system architecture, encompassing both software and hardware components
- Comprehensive knowledge of system performance and optimization techniques
- Proficient in network and web security functions, project planning and oversight, and organizational skills
- Deep technical proficiency in specialized systems programming and understanding of Microsoft operating systems
Responsibilities
- Act as the leader for improving the end-user Windows Desktop experience across the organization
- Serve as the enterprise expert in Endpoint Management (Microsoft MECM and Intune) and promote best practices
- Provide senior-level guidance on hybrid Active Directory design and implementation
- Develop and uphold outstanding standards for device images and deployments, both on-site and remote
- Maximize the utilization of existing Microsoft solutions like Entra ID for SSO/MFA and Conditional Access
- Evaluate and strategically adopt emerging Microsoft Desktop-related technologies and vendor solutions
- Oversee pilot programs, proof-of-concepts, and enterprise rollouts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Enhance system integration, automation, fault tolerance, and resilience across the enterprise
- Collaborate with various teams to design and implement scalable and secure Microsoft Desktop solutions
- Create advanced monitoring frameworks and performance dashboards for actionable insights and continuous system health assessment
- Disseminate technical advisories, vendor communications, and industry trends while establishing governance frameworks
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks concerning system performance, security, and compliance
- Manage vendor relationships and support agreements for Microsoft 365 and associated services
- Provide strategic recommendations for renewals, optimizations, and vendor performance evaluations
- Conduct impactful training sessions, workshops, and briefings on advanced Microsoft 365 topics, fostering a culture of continuous learning
