Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in cloud engineering or a similar position
- Proven ability to design and implement cloud solutions
- Hands-on experience managing complex cloud environments
- Experience integrating cloud services with existing IT systems and applications
- In-depth understanding of cloud security policies and compliance
- 6+ years of experience managing Linux server environments
- Extensive knowledge of hybrid cloud solutions
- Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) best practices
- Understanding of security frameworks like NIST, ISO, or CIS
- Experience with multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO) solutions
- Knowledge of network protocols and services associated with cloud environments
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced setting and manage shifting priorities
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and execution of cloud solutions aligning with business objectives
- Manage and maintain cloud resources, such as virtual machines and storage accounts
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve intricate cloud infrastructure challenges
- Establish and enforce cloud security protocols and configuration settings
- Collaborate with IT teams to seamlessly integrate cloud services with on-premises systems
- Ensure adherence to security policies and industry best practices in cloud environments
- Provide technical support and expertise to end-users and IT colleagues
- Mentor and develop junior staff members within the team
- Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining IT operational systems
