IT Support Specialist

- We seek a combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university, with major coursework in computer technology and Microsoft software. - A comprehensive understanding of hardware related to Windows PCs, including the installation and replacement of internal components and upgrades, is essential. - You should possess extensive knowledge of the installation, repair, and upgrading of the Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and associated software. - Experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP software is advantageous. - Previous experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is a plus. - You must demonstrate effective communication and the ability to maintain good working relationships with colleagues, exhibiting a team-player mentality. - Strong problem-solving skills and excellent organizational and time management abilities are necessary. - Your data entry skills must be precise, along with a keen attention to detail. - Physical requirements include the capacity to work primarily from a desk or office environment, along with the ability to type and focus on a computer screen for extended periods. You will also need to sit, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, etc., to connect IT equipment and navigate through production facilities as needed. Additionally, you should be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
