Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in site reliability, DevOps, or systems engineering, with prior leadership or team lead roles
- Strong programming/scripting abilities (e.g., Python, Go, Bash, or equivalent)
- In-depth knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration and networking
- Experience in architecting and managing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Proficient with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
- Advanced understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog)
- Preferred skills include; reliability strategy and architecture expertise, and hands-on experience leading development teams
- Ability to oversee incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem processes
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain robust site reliability practices
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure high availability and performance of applications
- Implement infrastructure-as-code practices to enhance automation
- Monitor system metrics and address potential issues proactively
- Conduct incident response and manage problem resolution processes
- Lead post-mortem analyses to improve future incident management
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
