Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field
- Over 5 years of experience in application development and architecture relevant to this role
- More than 4 years of expertise in Cloud technologies, specifically AWS certified
- 5+ years of proficiency with IBM Mainframes
- Experience hosting applications using Microfocus COBOL, JCL & CICS, DB2-LUW, and MicroFocus Enterprise Server
- Familiarity with DB2 connectivity
- Demonstrated experience with at least one full cycle of migrating from Mainframe to AWS
- Knowledge in SNA Architecture for Mainframe and AWS integration
- Understanding of data transfer protocols such as IBM Connect Direct and SFG Mailbox
- Familiarity with LRS printing tool integration with Microfocus and printers
- Experience with LDAP and establishing one-way trust to Active Directory
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification is preferred
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to design and enhance cloud solutions
- Develop and implement application architectures aligned with business needs
- Manage cloud-hosted applications and optimize performance
- Oversee the migration of mainframe applications to AWS
- Facilitate communication and integration between Mainframe systems and AWS
- Ensure proper implementation of data transfer protocols
- Integrate LRS printing tools effectively within the cloud environment
- Configure and manage LDAP settings alongside Active Directory
- Lead efforts in troubleshooting and resolving systems-related issues
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cloud technologies
