Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Over 10 years of overall IT experience
- Proven track record as a Python Developer with a solid project portfolio
- Practical experience with MongoDB and associated technologies
- Expertise in designing and implementing microservices architecture
- In-depth knowledge of application security principles and practices
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Gradle, Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, Harness, Sonar, etc.
- Proficient in automated unit testing frameworks like Pytest
- Background in agile software development methodologies
- Understand containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage
- Competent in version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities along with attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust Python applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design new features
- Implement and manage microservices architecture
- Ensure application security practices are integrated throughout development
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs and web services
- Manage CI/CD pipelines effectively
- Conduct automated unit testing to ensure code quality
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to the teamβs performance
- Utilize containerization technologies for application deployment
- Documentation of processes and code for clarity and future reference
