Requirements
Must:
- Strong expertise in Core Java and versions 8, 11, and 17
- Proficient in WebSphere (Traditional or Liberty)
- Experience with Kafka (Message Streaming, Event-Driven Architecture)
- Familiarity with Microservices (REST APIs, Service Discovery, Circuit Breakers, etc.)
- Proficient in Spring Boot (Dependency Injection, Security, Caching, etc.)
- Knowledge of Java/J2EE and Oracle back-end
- Understanding of containerization concepts
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust Java backend applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement microservices
- Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka
- Ensure the scalability and performance of web applications
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications
- Participate in the migration to modern technologies and practices
