Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in Java and experience with Angular and React
- Strong knowledge of mobile application development, especially with React Native
- Familiarity with software design, coding standards, and debugging practices
- Experience working collaboratively in a team environment with product managers and UX/UI designers
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent communication skills for conveying technical information to diverse stakeholders
- Awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies in the FinTech sector
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous improvement
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and modify software enhancements and new products for various applications
- Guide the development team in migrating from Angular/Cordova to React Native and upgrading the web codebase
- Collaborate closely with various stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements
- Develop and enforce coding standards for applications to ensure scalability and maintainability
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives related to development processes and tooling
- Evaluate third-party tools, frameworks, and APIs from a security, performance, and scalability perspective
- Work together with internal teams on API contract definitions and system integration
- Define system requirements through interaction with product managers and users
- Participate in software design discussions to assess user needs and establish technical requirements
- Promote a culture of innovation and excellence within the development team
- Document installation and maintenance procedures for software tools
- Lead the swift implementation of complex features while ensuring high-quality code
- Communicate intricate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Stay informed about regulatory changes in the FinTech space and suggest updates to applications accordingly
