Requirements
Must:
- Over 8 years of experience with Java, Spring framework, cloud development, and Web Services (REST, SOAP) handling high volume transactions in a highly available environment
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience utilizing Spring Framework and Spring Cloud components for backend processing involving real-time and batch use cases
- Proficient in developing and deploying cloud-ready applications
- Familiarity with non-blocking I/O frameworks and reactive programming
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment and DevOps practices
- Understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, and practices
- Eager to explore and utilize new tools and technologies
- Strong motivation to harness technology for creating impressive user experiences
- Self-driven with a creative and efficient approach to solving complex, urgent problems
- Experience in the Financial Services sector is an advantage
Responsibilities
- Design and implement applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
- Ensure the delivery and maintenance of high-quality software
- Promote continuous integration and deployment methods using tools like Bamboo within a DevOps framework
- Explore and advocate for new and emerging technologies, including open source solutions
- Identify and implement enhancements to improve the technical aspects of the development process
- Take on a leadership role in the agile process, encouraging team collaboration, prioritization, and accountability
- Act as a mentor and positive influence for junior team members
