Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or masters degree in a technology-related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science)
- Over 10 years of relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and SnowSQL with experience in Snowflake databases
- Strong experience with AWS services (Batch, S3)
- Minimum of 1 year of Python development experience
- Proficiency in SQL query optimization and tuning for performance improvement
- Experience with job scheduling tools, preferably Control M
- Proven data analysis abilities
- Solid data modeling skills, including Dimensional or Data Vault models
- Familiarity with AWS, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and Lambda development is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design and construct scalable data pipelines to support our data needs
- Manage and optimize Snowflake databases for efficient data retrieval
- Develop scripts and tools using Python for data analysis and processing
- Implement and maintain data models, ensuring data integrity and consistency
- Employ job scheduling tools to automate workflows and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and deliver solutions
- Optimize SQL queries to enhance performance and reduce compute costs
- Participate in Agile methodologies, contributing to sprint planning and iterations
