Cybersecurity Engineer - Srinivasa Kandi

- Participate in the design, implementation, and ongoing support of security infrastructure for the department - Assess network and information security risks across the organization and engineer solutions to mitigate these risks - Collaborate with the IT Division and external vendors to effectively design, plan, deploy, secure, and maintain network projects - Maintain effective collaboration with the Office of Information Security (OIS) and other ITD groups - Complete tasks related to the strategic plan of the Network Security Operations group - Develop, document, and maintain system policies and procedures - Conduct network scans and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities - Monitor log analysis and management tools for potential threats - Evaluate vulnerability scan results and communicate issues needing remediation to the relevant teams - Participate in agency Azure cloud solution reviews concerning network security and general projects - Document daily functions necessary for the maintenance of security-relevant systems and applications - Work with the agencys ISO team and IT auditors to assess security audit findings and vulnerability scan results - Identify corrective actions and communicate these to various stakeholders - Ensure device configurations adhere to best practices and keep documentation updated - Coordinate the management and resolution of security-related incidents
