Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a comparable position
- Solid comprehension of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
- Proficient with Cisco and Juniper networking equipment
- Familiarity with Azure networking components such as VNets, NSGs, Application Gateway, ExpressRoute, and Azure Firewall
- Experience in virtualization technologies like VMware and Pure Storage, as well as Windows/Linux environments
- Understanding of security tools including Sentinel One and DUO
- Knowledgeable in VPN technologies and remote access solutions like Ivanti
- Some experience with Azure Monitor, Network Watcher, and Wireshark
- Experience with ARM templates or Terraform is advantageous
- Authorized to work in the United States without future visa sponsorship restrictions
Responsibilities
- Offer operational support for enterprise network infrastructure, both on-premises and in Azure
- Manage Azure components including VNets, NSGs, Application Gateways, Azure Firewall, and ExpressRoute
- Monitor and address network performance issues
- Configure and implement network hardware alongside cloud networking tools
- Ensure secure connections between on-premises infrastructure and Azure
- Document network architecture and propose enhancements
- Collaborate effectively with infrastructure and security teams
- Assist in network modifications, upgrades, and patching processes
- Take part in knowledge transfer sessions with other team members
