Requirements
Must:
- 3-5 years of experience in manual penetration testing of web and mobile applications
- Advanced understanding of computer and internet security systems
- Strong hacking skills at an advanced level
- Capable of automating processes, reporting, and governance activities
- Experience in coordinating with development and DevSecOps teams
- Ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels across various business units
- Proven ability to identify, research, and evaluate current vulnerabilities and provide remediation guidance
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in application security
- Conduct AppSec testing activities to ensure the security of applications
- Coordinate vendor penetration testing efforts with development teams
- Coach and guide developers in integrating security practices into their workflow
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create effective remediation strategies
- Assess vulnerabilities and provide timely configuration guidance based on findings
