Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree is essential
- Advanced degree is preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in System Infrastructure desired
- Excellent project management, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team is crucial
- Strong expertise in networking, virtualization, cloud computing, and systems architecture
- Proven experience in leading technical projects and overseeing infrastructure Analysts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Microsoft and VMware certifications are advantageous
- Excellent customer service and time management skills
- Experience with disaster recovery is beneficial
- Willingness to work occasional after-hours as required
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure solutions
- Lead troubleshooting for complex infrastructure issues
- Act as the technical lead on infrastructure and integration projects
- Develop and enforce documentation, standards, and best practices
- Mentor and train infrastructure analysts and support personnel
- Evaluate emerging technologies and propose enhancements to infrastructure strategies
- Provide support and maintenance for an enterprise-wide Microsoft Windows Active Directory infrastructure, including various systems like Aruba switches, Windows Servers, Microsoft SQL Databases, and others
- Perform administrative tasks related to network maintenance, design, and deployment, along with PC and LAN technical support
- Monitor server performance, storage, and hardware while generating reports on system availability and user activity
- Create work plans and test plans for system upgrades and maintenance
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of MS Windows 11, MS Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, MS Active Directory, MS Exchange, and MS SQL server administration
- Understand VMware Virtualization, Cisco UCS, SonicWALL, and VPN Clients
- Oversee Veeam backup software, ensuring backups are maintained and monitored
- Manage IT backup systems, including procedural reviews and disaster recovery planning/testing
- Recognize and work with Anti-Virus products, particularly Microsoft Defender
- Understand server hardware and IBM SAN Storage requirements
- Have knowledge of networking principles like DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and SNMP
- Manage Patch Management using Shavlik/Ivanti Protect & Manage Engine
- Familiarity with Security Applications like OKTA and Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of Office 365 and relevant applications
- Understand voice and data cabling technologies, specifically Avaya IP Office 500 PBX
- Monitor and upgrade data telecommunications for various network configurations
- Have knowledge of Disaster Recovery procedures
