Requirements
Must:
- 6-10 years of experience in SAP Security administration, emphasizing role design and user management
- Comprehensive knowledge of SAP authorization structures, including profile generator (PFCG) and authorization objects
- Familiarity with SAP GRC Access Control functionalities, such as Access Request Management and Access Risk Analysis is preferred
- Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 security, particularly in the AFS (Apparel and Footwear Solution) module is highly desirable
- Solid grasp of SOX IT general controls relating to SAP access management and change management
- Understanding of SAP HANA security protocols, including database-level privileges and user administration
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori authorization concepts and configurations, including catalog assignments and OData service security
- Proficient in standard office applications, including word processing and spreadsheets
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and administer SAP roles and authorization objects within ECC 6.0, HANA, BW, Fiori, and NetWeaver based on business needs and least privilege principles
- Manage user accounts by assigning roles and handling access provisioning or de-provisioning across all SAP systems
- Identify and resolve Segregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts utilizing GRC Access Control or similar tools; collaborate with finance and IT audit teams to enforce SoD rules
- Maintain consistent SOX compliance for SAP access controls by preparing documentation and control narratives for audits
- Assist in audit processes by collecting necessary evidence and addressing any findings in a timely manner
- Oversee regular user access reviews and recertification across SAP environments, ensuring validation of access appropriateness with business owners
- Work closely with Basis, functional, and development teams regarding security-related system changes to ensure adequate authorization coverage
- Participate in system refresh and transport activities, confirming role and profile integrity following refreshes across environments
- Monitor SAP security logs and access reports to detect and escalate anomalies or breaches in policy
- Drive ongoing improvements in security processes and documentation, promoting efficiency through automation and standardized role design
- Review current SAP role configurations to pinpoint redundancies and gaps, moving towards a streamlined role design
- Facilitate discussions with business and IT stakeholders to establish role ownership and access governance for SAP security management
