Requirements
Must:
- Significant experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server
- Proficiency in Power BI/Fabric with relevant certifications
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Server technologies (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, File Services, Print Services, Windows Server administration)
- Strong understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, and Security & Compliance Center
- Familiarity with RMM and PSA platforms, particularly Datto and Halo
- Strong documentation skills and careful attention to detail
- Understanding of ITIL or similar service management frameworks
- Project management skills
- Minimum 5-7 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in an MSP environment or a similar role
- Microsoft SharePoint and PowerBI/Fabric certifications
- Proven ability to manage intricate technical projects
- Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to independently work and efficiently prioritize multiple tasks
- Valid drivers license with dependable transportation
- Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to travel locally up to 10% of the time
- Availability for after-hours project work and emergency support when necessary
- Must be local to the Portland, OR area
Responsibilities
- Lead intricate technical projects from conception through execution and documentation
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for escalated client issues
- Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft SharePoint environments
- Manage and enhance Microsoft 365 environments, focusing on security, compliance, and governance
- Consult, design, and support Microsoft Fabric projects tailored to various client environments
- Create thorough technical documentation and knowledge base articles
- Mentor and offer technical direction to Tier I and Tier II engineers
- Conduct security assessments and apply hardening measures
- Collaborate with clients to identify business requirements and recommend technology solutions
- Participate in after-hours maintenance and project implementations as necessary
- Utilize Datto RMM and Halo PSA for monitoring, ticketing, and project management
- Make on-site visits to client locations within the Portland area when required
