Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems/Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - 3-5+ years of practical experience in Workday system administration. - Proficient in Workday Finance and HR, including security configuration and business process setup. - Experience with Workday reporting, calculated fields, and integrations. - Familiar with data privacy, compliance, and audit requirements. - Exceptional troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication abilities and stakeholder management skills. - Workday certifications (HCM, Security, Reporting, Integrations, or Payroll). - Experience supporting various Workday modules (e.g., Benefits, Compensation, Absence, Recruiting, Financials). - Knowledge of integration tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, and PECI. - Prior experience in a mid-to-large organization or multi-entity environment.

Responsibilities

- Administer and configure Workday modules to ensure optimal system performance. - Collaborate with HR and Finance to manage user accounts, roles, and security groups, ensuring compliance. - Oversee upgrades, patches, and releases; conduct regression testing and validation. - Serve as a technical contact for Workday helpdesk inquiries. - Provide on-call support for system administration after hours as needed. - Assist in configuring business processes, workflows, notifications, and security roles within Workday. - Work with HR, Finance, and IT teams to identify and implement system enhancements. - Support the creation of reports and dashboards tailored to business needs. - Oversee and troubleshoot Workday integrations with external systems. - Ensure data integrity through audits, validations, and corrections. - Support data migrations and provide direction on data governance. - Offer advanced user support by resolving system issues and addressing tickets efficiently. - Create training materials and documentation for Workday end-users and power users. - Act as a subject matter expert for Workday by staying updated on new features and best practices. - Assess information and technology needs from both strategic and operational perspectives and provide recommendations. - Assist the system administration team with the implementation of new technologies for Uplift Education. - Effectively communicate with non-technical personnel regarding technical issues; demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills. - Undertake IT project management initiatives and provide reasonable estimates for completion. - Conduct data backups and manage disaster recovery processes. - Train, coach, and mentor system administration team members and junior staff on the Workday system. - Coordinate with third-party vendors regarding Workday-related incidents or issues.
