Project Development Engineer

- Assess client needs and site conditions to create initial technical concepts. - Carry out feasibility studies, site evaluations, and data analysis for prospective projects. - Aid in techno-economic modeling and risk assessments of proposed solutions. - Conduct onsite evaluations of mechanical and electrical system equipment. - Design conceptual and schematic layouts for energy conservation initiatives. - Produce engineering scopes of work (SOWs), system diagrams, equipment specifications, and preliminary P&IDs. - Collaborate with engineering partners, vendors, and internal teams for design input and confirmation. - Contribute to the proposal team by providing technical insights, cost assessments, and equipment recommendations for RFPs and client projects. - Engage with vendors and internal divisions to gather technical and budget quotes. - Assist in analyzing project profitability, including CAPEX, OPEX, and ROI calculations. - Collaborate closely with sales, business development, and project execution teams to ensure solutions align with client expectations and company capabilities. - Attend client meetings and presentations to clarify engineering strategies and value propositions. - Ensure compliance with permitting, regulatory, and environmental standards.
