Responsibilities
- I expect you to utilize AI coding assistants for implementation, refactoring, and documentation while adhering to team guidelines.
- Generating unit and integration tests to enhance coverage and minimize defects will be part of your role.
- You will expedite pull requests through AI-assisted reviews, summaries, and risk assessments.
- Troubleshooting issues and overcoming obstacles will involve querying logs and documentation using AI.
- Collaborating with product, design, security, and compliance teams will be necessary to deliver increments that align with fintech standards.
Description
Uptime Crew is looking for you to kickstart your career by leveraging AI to code faster, enhance testing, and ship products with assurance. Once hired, we will provide paid training for 10 to 12 weeks before deploying you to our esteemed fintech client's engineering team in Mountain View. The training program includes paid remote sessions focused on AI-assisted software development, utilizing prompt patterns for coding and testing, ensuring secure use of AI in regulated environments, enhancing code quality, automating the software development lifecycle, and understanding cloud deployment basics. As a capstone project, you will deliver a production-style slice that employs AI tools to reduce cycle time, increase test coverage, and improve documentation quality. After training, you will integrate with the client team on-site, actively contributing to ongoing services and applications while continuing to leverage AI for faster delivery. Throughout your assignment, you may work with technologies like Java or Python, Spring Boot or Node, REST and gRPC, React, SQL, GitHub, CI/CD, Docker, and AWS or GCP, alongside AI tools such as LangChain, Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, and various code review and testing assistants. In terms of compensation, during training, you will receive a paid biweekly stipend plus benefits, and upon joining client projects, your salary will exceed $100,000 annually. Additional benefits include health insurance (medical, vision, and dental), a matching 401(k), voluntary life insurance, relocation reimbursement, 11 paid days off annually, and potential industry certifications within an inclusive and collaborative culture.
