Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or advanced degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
- Over 4 years of relevant experience in IT engineering, support, or consulting
- At least 2 years of experience in networking, application development, system security, or IT audit preferred
- Proven ability to work effectively in unclear environments and across different locations
- Skilled in detecting and analyzing security threats
- Experience responding to security alerts quickly and effectively
- Capable of delivering high-quality solutions under shifting priorities and tight deadlines
- Ability to align business needs with service options using knowledge of strategy and market offerings
- Strong relationship-building skills to understand business strategies and influence planning
- Excellent communication skills with business partners and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in both oral and written communication
Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of user access management, including provisioning, reviews, and audit support
- Collaborate closely with engineers, auditors, and cross-functional teams for secure access management
- Drive the development and execution of enterprise security programs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with audit partners
- Design security solutions to safeguard Unums information assets
- Deliver essential IAM capabilities for our clients, including privileged account management
- Assist security engineers in evaluating vendor products and strategies
- Help implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards
- Contribute to project development and security initiatives as assigned
- Advise business partners on security configurations for new or existing applications
- Evaluate vendor product strategies and software enhancements for security integration
- Provide tier II support to associates and security analysts
- Make informed security recommendations using knowledge of Unums technical environment
- Lead initiatives in moderately complex situations
- Support system upgrades for the EISRM technology portfolio
- Offer troubleshooting assistance to the Operations team
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
