Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative field is advantageous
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience or equivalent
- Advanced proficiency in at least one core data science skill set with foundational knowledge in others
- Experience with APIs, file I/O, databases, and analysis libraries
- Familiarity with statistical packages and coding in Jupyter notebooks
- Understanding of data visualization tools and experience with static data visualization
- Solid grasp of statistical inference and regression models
- Basic understanding of machine learning methodologies, such as random forests
- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and navigating databases
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently
- Capacity to mentor and coach team members while adhering to best practices
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and a passion for learning
Responsibilities
- Design and implement analytical solutions using statistical methods and data mining to yield actionable insights
- Integrate large datasets from various sources to create useful data assets for analysis
- Validate and aggregate data to develop a rich framework suitable for modeling
- Create predictive models using machine learning techniques to analyze and forecast behaviors
- Utilize AI tools to enhance code development efficiency and self-learning
- Communicate findings and their implications to management effectively
- Facilitate the integration of solutions into current business processes through automation
- Stay updated with current statistical methods and tools
- Utilize tools such as Python, Databricks, and SQL in day-to-day tasks
- Undertake additional duties as required
