Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience for Systems Administrator II or 6 years for Systems Administrator III, with a bachelors or higher degree (equivalency considered)
- Proficiency in SIP trunking and Session Border Controller (SBC) technologies
- Experience with Avaya Aura IP PBX systems and peripherals, including EMC Contact Center and Call Recording Systems
- Familiarity with cloud-based Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) platforms and integration with Microsoft Teams
- Strong system administration skills, including performance tuning and system recovery
- Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Ability to maintain detailed documentation on system architecture and operational procedures
- Experience in high-pressure environments, particularly in healthcare or education sectors is preferred
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise voice infrastructure with a focus on modernization
- Install and configure Avaya Aura IP PBX hardware and associated peripherals
- Lead efforts to replace legacy telephony infrastructure with SIP-based VoIP solutions
- Design and support cloud-based CCaaS platforms to enhance operational efficiency
- Execute system administration duties including software upgrades, performance tuning, and system hardening
- Collaborate with various IT teams to create scalable network and voice architectures
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of topology, change management, and backup procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation for incident response and operational support
- Work closely with teams such as Telephone Technicians and Network Operations
