Requirements

Must:
- A minimum of two years experience delivering remote technical support utilizing a ticketing system. - Proficient in quickly grasping comprehensive knowledge of new systems to effectively train or resolve issues with users. - Capable of providing end-user assistance and responding to inquiries through various communication channels. - Strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication abilities. - Proven capability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a team-focused setting. - Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. - Preferred: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable field, or equivalent work experience. - Preferred: Over three years of experience using ticketing systems for technical support. - Preferred: Demonstrated creative problem-solving capabilities. - Preferred: Experience managing multiple tasks and projects concurrently. - Preferred: Background in writing technical documentation. - Preferred: Familiarity with Zoom video conferencing software. - Preferred: Experience with the Canvas Learning Management System.

Responsibilities

- Offer exceptional customer support via phone, email, text, and chat to university personnel, faculty, OnRamps students, and instructors for various software, hardware, desktop, network, and system-related inquiries. - Track reported issues to identify patterns and propose solutions. Create resources to enhance the OnRamps customer support knowledge base and overall customer experience. - Participate in specific projects and initiatives as needed. - Provide suggestions on internal and external processes, contribute to continuous improvement efforts, and engage in team meetings and professional development training sessions.
