Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline
- Minimum of two years of experience in application design and development using object-oriented programming languages like Java or C# (.NET) and SQL for relational database management
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) and a commitment to their responsible usage in development processes
- Strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities, enabling effective collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment with a focus on professionalism and output
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to recommend and build scalable application and integration solutions, leveraging technical expertise and innovative approaches, including the strategic use of AI tools to enhance solution design and delivery
- Create Technical Designs (TDs) outlining how functional requirements will be technically executed, including the design of APIs, data flows, and system integrations
- Develop Unit Test Plans to validate programs, ensure compliance with standards, and promote best practices in testing and code quality across the team
- Construct and unit test application programs as specified in Technical Designs, ensuring compliance with programming standards and policies, including integration components such as APIs, services, and data transformations, utilizing AI-assisted development tools to enhance efficiency and code quality
- Provide production support by diagnosing issues, identifying root causes, and implementing and testing fixes with an emphasis on long-term stability and maintainability, employing AI-assisted diagnostics when necessary
- Effectively manage work assignments, exercise significant independent judgment, and operate with minimal supervision
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead, Application Development
