Youth Development Education Specialist

- Manage and oversee daily operations of the 4-H Youth Development Program, ensuring compliance with best practices. - Train and support community club leaders, project leaders, and volunteers on approved curriculum and processes. - Assist in expanding 4-H programs by reviewing and approving new club charters and membership documents. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of 4-H and UC ANR policies to communicate effectively with stakeholders. - Resolve conflicts and complaints in accordance with 4-H Conflict Resolution Policy. - Disseminate information through various channels including social media, websites, and newsletters. - Engage with local community organizations to promote and represent the 4-H Youth Development Program. - Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in youth development. - Approve youth and volunteer enrollments, ensuring compliance with state and organizational policies. - Assist with recruitment efforts to diversify program participation in underserved populations. - Provide technical support for event coordination and ensure compliance with facility use agreements. - Maintain social media presence and create educational materials for community outreach.
