Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Education, Youth Development, or related field
- Experience in program management and youth development
- Strong understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles
- Proven ability to resolve conflicts effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with curriculum design and educational practices
- Proficient in using social media and digital tools for outreach
- Ability to work collaboratively with volunteers and community partners
- Capacity to lead training sessions and workshops
- Knowledge of STEM and positive youth development strategies
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the 4-H Youth Development Program in Calaveras County
- Coordinate outreach and recruitment efforts for program expansion
- Ensure adherence to 4-H policies and procedures
- Facilitate training for volunteers and community leaders
- Serve as a liaison between community organizations and the program
- Manage enrollment processes for youth and volunteers
- Address and resolve conflicts while maintaining compliance with policies
- Develop and implement strategic outreach plans for diverse communities
- Maintain communications through various digital platforms
- Assist in preparing reports and documentation for funding and grants
