Requirements
Must:
- Five years of experience in engineering focused on process enhancement, data analysis, and process design, with a preference for three years in a healthcare environment.
- Bachelors degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline is required; a Masters degree is preferred.
- Proficient in information systems, including office automation and data analytics tools like MS Office, simulation software, and Visio.
- High expertise in business intelligence tools, particularly Power BI and/or Tableau.
- Familiarity with current trends in quality, process improvement, and technological methodologies.
- Working knowledge of the Malcolm Baldrige excellence framework.
- Experience in administering software systems.
- Capability to plan, coordinate, and supervise the implementation of strategies developed from operational and financial analyses in partnership with stakeholders.
- Skill in coaching teams in performance improvement techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Excellent time management abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
- Capacity to handle multiple tasks and adhere to tight deadlines.
- Preferred knowledge of healthcare operations and/or facility design.
Responsibilities
- Engage in projects aimed at designing processes and enhancing existing ones within a hospital environment.
- Analyze the flow of information through hospital and clinic operations using a variety of quantitative and qualitative techniques.
- Leverage analytical skills and process enhancement expertise to create significant positive outcomes for patients.
- Contribute to our organizations analytics initiatives and support the adoption of the Malcolm Baldrige framework.
