Requirements
Must:
- Highly effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in managing data from initial acquisition through final delivery.
- Strong skills in business and systems analysis, with an aptitude for translating user needs into logical processes.
- Capable of quickly learning new technologies without prior experience.
- Expertise in designing and documenting tools and solutions.
- Skilled in managing stress, particularly in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations.
- Ability to gather requirements for data-driven solutions from individuals with diverse technical knowledge.
- Self-driven, analytical, and oriented towards goals.
- Preferred experience with programming languages such as Microsoft T-SQL, VBScript, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), CCL, and Oracle SQL.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and preferred understanding of Microsoft T-SQL.
- Effectively prioritizes tasks based on time and scheduling aligned with the directives of the direct Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Act as an expert in delivering system data from its sources to end users using appropriate technologies.
- Oversee all aspects of delivering data to users, including gaining direct access to source systems.
- Design ETL processes to transfer data from source systems to data repositories.
- Create database objects for efficient data delivery and user-facing applications.
- Develop reusable code sets and utilities to standardize automation and maximize efficiency.
- Evaluate historical requests and solutions to create and enhance tools for improved accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain updated documentation for all developed solutions.
- Serve as a project manager coordinating with different departments to develop custom solutions, including scheduling and progress evaluation.
