Requirements
Must:
- Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing is mandatory.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a hospital or clinic setting is essential.
- Preferred experience in reporting and analyzing clinical documentation for Joint Commission accreditation in stroke programs.
- Proficiency in the operation of personal computers and Microsoft Office software is expected.
- Valid registered nurse license from the Board of Nurse Examiners of the State of Texas is required.
- Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR) is also necessary.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and oversight of stroke data for University Hospital.
- Conduct data collection, analysis, and reporting in accordance with Joint Commission Stroke standards.
- Collaborate with hospital Stroke Medical Directors, Stroke Coordinators, and Ancillary Program Leadership to enhance data collection processes.
- Formulate strategies to address any variances identified in stroke data compliance.
